Ganesh Chaturthi 2026: PM Narendra Modi Visits Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s Residence to Offer Prayers

NEW DELHI: Joining the nationwide festive celebrations with immense religious fervor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday evening visited the official residence of Union Minister Piyush Goyal in the national capital. On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Prime Minister offered traditional prayers and performed aarti before the beautifully decorated idol of Lord Ganesha, seeking divine blessings for the nation’s growth and prosperity.

The ten-day festival marking Lord Ganesha’s birth began Monday with traditional rituals and community gatherings, accompanied by PM Modi’s greetings on X where he wished citizens fresh energy and progress. Following the visit, political leaders also participated in local celebrations.
