Ramayana First Song Out: Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Unveils Devotional Track ‘Jai Jai Ram’ On Ganesh Chaturthi

MUMBAI: Marking the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on Monday, the makers of the highly anticipated cinematic masterpiece Ramayana have officially dropped the first single from the film, titled ‘Jai Jai Ram’. The musical composition brings together some of the biggest icons of the Indian music industry, creating a profound spiritual and cinematic experience for audiences globally.

The devotional masterpiece has been beautifully composed by Oscar-winning maestro A.R. Rahman, with deeply spiritual lyrics penned by noted poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas. Adding unmatched emotional depth to the melody, iconic playback singers Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal have lent their soulful voices to the track. According to a statement by A.R. Rahman, the creative vision behind the melody was to retain the pure, intimate sanctity of a prayer centered around Lord Ram while scaling it into a magnificent cinematic anthem.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, the star-studded magnum opus features Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor essaying the role of Lord Ram, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Jointly bankrolled by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios, DNEG, and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana: Part One is officially slated for a grand global theatrical release this Diwali 2026.
